Mainstreet Tauranga Incorporated Society is a not-for-profit organisation managing Downtown Tauranga.

We represent over 500 property owners, business owners, operators, and their staff within our district. Our members span diverse industries, generating significant revenue, contributing rates and taxes, and providing services and jobs in our community.

We support our members by advocating for their interests and helping them thrive in the City Centre. By fostering connections between businesses and the local community, we create benefits for all stakeholders. Our proactive communication ensures our members are always informed and supported. Inclusivity is key in our operations, involving as many members as possible in our strategic decisions.

Mainstreet Tauranga (Downtown Tauranga) drives events, activities, and initiatives to make our City Centre a desirable place to live, work, learn, eat, shop, and play. We actively promote the City Centre as a destination and share positive stories about its vibrant and progressive activities and ongoing transformation.
